The CVR-80B is a refrigerated floor-standing centrifuge tailored for blood banks and transfusion centers. It efficiently handles large specimen volumes, accommodating up to twelve 500 ml blood pouches per run. Its smooth operation ensures consistent and reliable sedimentation results.
This high-performance blood bank centrifuge features precise temperature control, ranging from -20°C to +40°C. Its Rapid Temp quick cooling function is especially useful for pre-chilled blood pouches, allowing the chamber and accessories to be pre-cooled to a specific temperature, ensuring optimal processing conditions.

Features of Blood Centrifuge CVR-80B
- Robust Construction: The rotor body is made of national aviation standard aluminum 7075-T6, which is processed and molded after forging treatment and Class A deep flaw detection treatment, and passes the static balance test and dynamic balance test to ensure the safety and reliability of the rotor body.
- Precision Rotor Design: Rotor body made of national aviation standard aluminum LC4, processed and shaped after forging treatment, and subjected to A-level depth flaw detection treatment, static balance test, and dynamic balance test for optimal performance.
- User-Friendly Features: Equipped with an observations window for speed calibration and noise measurement. Microprocessor control with carbon brushless large torque frequency conversion motor ensures maintenance-free operation and no dust pollution. LCD display shows Speed, Timer, RCF, Rotors, Program(Memory), Acceleration & Deceleration information, and Error codes.
- Efficient Capacity: can process up to 12 bags of 500 ml whole blood or 6*2400 ml for a total of 14,400 ml specimens at a time.
- Temperature Control: CFC-free refrigeration system with double-cycle refrigeration and precise temperature control ranging up to -20°C. Pre-cooling feature ensures optimal temperature conditions.
- Programmable Operation: Allows programming and storage of up to 30 programs. Offers 10 acceleration rates and 10 braking ramps to avoid secondary sedimentation for enhanced centrifugation efficiency.
- Convenient Operation: Features automatic lid-locking and holding during rotor run. Easily exchangeable rotors and a special rotor connector facilitate effortless loading and unloading.
- Wind cover shield prevents air currents from affecting processed specimens.
- Safety Measures: Produced according to international safety regulations (e.g., IEC 61010). Safety Electrical lid interlock ensures the door cannot open when the rotor is running. The machine won’t operate if the lid is open, and error codes are displayed. Emergency lid-lock release is available in case of power failure. Gas hinge provides lid drop protection. Multiple safety features protect against over speed, over heating (motor, chamber), imbalance, ensuring user and machine safety.
